1. Why am I getting a bill from Primex?

You have recently had laboratory services done either at a Primex Patient Service Center or your doctors' office.
2. What is a deductible?

This is an amount that is required to be paid by a subscriber before health plan benefits will begin to reimburse for services.
3. Can you bill my secondary insurance?

Yes, just fax us the copy of your insurance card (front & back), and your Primex account number to 818-779-1326.
4. Do you accept payment plan?

No.
5. How do I pay my bill?

You can make your payment several ways:
Credit Card by calling 800-295-6595
Check payable to Primex Clinical Laboratories, Inc.
Pay Cash at a local Patient Service Center
Money Order payable to Primex Clinical Laboratories, Inc.
6. How do I know if Primex is contracted with my insurance company?

Contact your insurance company to find out contracted providers. Please review your healthcare benefits before having services rendered. Patient is responsible for charges not covered by the insurance company.
7. Will my insurance cover services if it is out of network?

If you have out of network coverage the insurance will cover services.
8. Can I get a copy of my lab report?

No, due to regulations lab results are sent directly to your ordering physician.
9. Why is my account going to collection?

Your account was not paid within 90 days. Please contact the collection agency to settle your claim.
10. Do you do courtesy testing?

No, please note Federal and state regulations prohibit professional courtesy testing.
